140 development projects being implemented in Khost
As many as 140 development projects are to be completed by the end of the current solar year in four districts of southeastern Khost province, said Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department official.
Director Mohammad Usman Mehdi said 327 schemes had been implemented so far in Khost City and districts under the National Solidarity Program (NSP) over the past few years, of which 61 were during the current solar year.
He added 35 projects suggested by locals would be implemented before 21st March under the Stability in Key Areas (SIKA) program.
Khost Agriculture and Livestock Director Dr. Naqibullah said his department had implemented six projects this year, with another 23 being completed.
