30,000 students in Takhar to benefit from new school buildings

120310-A-LE308-024German Development Bank and other international donors have pledged USD 3mn for construction of 7 schools across northern Takhar province.

Constructed in Chal, Bangi, Rustaq and Cha Aab districts of the province, the school buildings will benefit 30,000 students.

Fifty-two schools out of 648 are without buildings in the province, where 300,000 students are imparted education by 8,000 teachers.
