62 development projects completed in Kabul Province

As many as 62 development projects have been completed in MirBachakot, Kalakan and Qara Bagh districts of Kabul province by the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD).

The projects were implemented at a cost of AFN 10,992,374 with 10% contribution from the local community.

According to NSP Provincial Manager in Kabul province, these development projects include the construction of a 1,210-meter long rural road, a 15,217-meter retaining wall, a 700-meter irrigation canal, a water supply network, six community centers and excavation of eight wells equipped with hand pumps.

Approximately, 15,217 families in various communities have been blessed with basic human needs upon completion of these projects.

It is worth mentioning that the work of hundreds of other NSP-funded projects is currently in progress in different communities across Kabul province.
