942 families benefit from welfare projects in Zabul province
Fifteen projects of the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) were recently completed in Tarnak & Jaldak district of Zabul province and handed over to the people.
Costing 9,420,000 AFN these development projects included construction of canals and excavation of wells along with Hand pumps installation and Nine Hundred & Forty Two families have benefited from these development projects.
Since its inception, the NSP expended 439,289,783 AFN for implementation of 588 development projects in various sectors such as transport, water and sanitation, irrigation, power, livelihoods, education. 211 projects have been completed while the work of another 377 is currently in progress. Thousands of the residents of the Zabul province have benefited from these development projects so far.
