Afghan Government called upon to repair ruptured Kabul-Balkh highway

kabul-mazar highwayDrivers and passengers urged the Afghan government to reconstruct the damaged part of the Kabul-Balkh highway in Tangi Tashqurghan area, a part of Khulm district of Balkh province.

The destruction of the highway resulted in delayed humanitarian response to flood affected families to villages in Khulm district earlier this month, when flooding along the highway left hundreds of locals displaced and livelihoods destroyed.
