Afghan teachers in Ghor province to receive land plots
After two years of wait teachers in Ghor province are going to receive land plots as promised by the government.
The process of distributing land plots to teachers has officially begun, and the distribution is based on the teacher’s degree of education and career.
Governor Sayed Anwar Rahmati said the town would be built with high standards and would include the basic facilities.
The town has the capacity of 270 residential buildings and would include a school, a mosque and green areas.
Meanwhile, head of Ghor’s Education Department Sebghatuallh Akbari said the government plans to distribute lands to more teachers in the coming future.
The town’s inauguration comes as President Ashraf Ghani promised to increase teachers’ salaries and provide them the necessary facilities including residential buildings.
