Afghan traders to get lands in industrial park

Minister of Commerce and Industries Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi announced on Thursday that the distribution of land plots to traders in Hesar-e-Shahi industrial parks in eastern Nangarhar province will begin soon.

The ministry planned to construct a large petroleum storage facility in Nangarhar, Ahadi said, promising power lines would be extended to the Hesar-i-Shahi Park in next few months.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Governor Mohammad Hanif Gardiwal said Jalalabad needed 40 megawatts of electricity. He urged Ahadi to help the province in this regard.
