Afghan women handicrafts displayed in Kandahar

handicraftThe department of women’s affairs and information and culture has sponsored a 3-day exhibition of handicrafts made by women in southern Kandahar city.

The exhibition is aimed at finding markets for women’s handicrafts.

“Hundreds of different kinds of handicrafts are put on display and we hope to find domestic and international markets for women’s handicrafts,” said Director of Women’s Affairs Ruqia Achakzai.
