Afghanistan wins AIM 2016 Investment Award
The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) recognizes the top investment support agencies from across the globe after observing their strategies, programs and achievements in attracting investment in their countries.
This year’s ceremony was held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 11-13 April 2016.
The Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) received the award for the best investment support agency in Central Asia from Sultan Bin Sayed-ul-Mansoor, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
AISA Chief Qurban Ali Haqjo regarded the award as a major achievement for his country and his agency.
“AISA is committed to providing better opportunities for local and international investors in Afghanistan,” said Haqjo.
