Alokozay to invest in Afghanistan’s housing sector

The Alokozay Group of Companies has pledged to investment in the housing sector of Afghanistan.

This followed after a meeting between the Minister of Urban Development Affairs Syed Sadat Mansoor Naderi and Chief Executive of Alokozay Group of Companies on Monday in Moscow, Russia.

One of Russia’s leading industries will provide technical support to Alokozay Group of Companies to invest in the housing sector.

Minister Naderi urged Russia to invest in Afghanistan’s housing project during his official visit to Moscow.

He met with Russia’s special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Zamir Nabiyevich Kabulov, Minister of Urban Development and President of the Chamber of Commerce.

An agreement between Afghanistan’s House Construction Sector and a Russian industry has been signed based on a 49% and 51% share.

As per the agreement, Russia will deliver USD 25mn worth of construction equipment which will enable the construction company to build up to 1,000 apartments annually.
