Bamyan women participate in tree planting campaign

afghan women in blueMore than 200 Afghan women in Bamyan participated in a tree planting campaign launched by the Executives of Democratic Party.

The campaign’s slogan was “A green land keeps the sky blue”. The female participants were wearing a blue scarf symbolizing the blue sky.

Director of the Executives of Democratic Party Ms. Malistani said such campaign was previously launched in Kabul city.

“We have gathered over 200 women to have a role in community services and to take the responsibility of planting saplings to keep Bamyan city green,” said Ms. Malistani.
