Council of Ministers Discussion on Reconstruction

Economic Committee of The Council of Ministers, chaired by second vice president, Mohammad Karim Khalili, discussed extension and protection of highways.

The committee decided to prevent vehicles with high tonnage on the highways to prevent damages caused to the highways and costs a high budget for reconstructing the highways which are recently asphalted.

The committee after hearing the entire viewpoints of the meeting participants instructed the ministry of public works to provide a comprehensive draft for protection and supervision of the country’s highways and present it in the next session.

The ministry of finance also presented report from the Tokyo conference to the committee members, in which 22 national programs would be offered to the international community on support and financing spheres for the country’s revitalization of the infrastructures, education, human resources etc.
