Cricket stadium to be built in Faizabad

A cricket stadium would be constructed in fifth municipality district of the provincial capital of Badakhshan, Faizabad.

Costing USD 50,000, the project would be funded by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).

Many Badakhshan youths have turned to cricket for leisure activity and/or career path after series of achievements by the Afghanistan cricket teams in international arenas.
