Development of telecom sector is our top priority: President Ghani

President Ashraf Ghani said the development of Afghanistan’s telecommunication sector was the government’s top priority.

In a meeting with directors of Afghan Telecom, Roshan, Afghan Wireless Communication Company, Etisalat and Multinational Telecommunication Network (MTN) at the Presidential Palace, President Ghani assured the telecom sector that the government would provide all facilities needed for the growth of the sector.

“The development of the telecommunication sector is the government’s priority,” said President Ghani.

He further directed the Ministry of Finance to address concerns of telecom companies about taxes.
