Eleven NSP projects completed in Takhar province
With a cost of more than Afs 27,449,000 eleven sub-projects of National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development were recently completed in Farkhar, Taluqan, Yangiqala, Bangi, Ishkamish and Khwaja Ghar districts of Takhar province and handed over to communities.
According to the provincial Manager of NSP in Takhar province, these development projects included: Drilling of rural rods, construction of community centers, retaining walls, hydro power projects, culverts and irrigation canals. Approximately, 3,270 families benefited from these development projects.
Since its inception, the NSP has expended Afs 3,240,604,929 for implementation of 3,592 development projects in Takhar province which included various sectors, such as: Education, irrigation, electricity, livelihood, transport and community centers. Thousands of residents of Takhar province benefited from these development projects so far.
