Foundation stone of railways station in Nangarhar laid

nangarharThe foundation stone of railway station and customs house were laid in Hesar Shahi industrial zone, Nangarhar province.

The railway track would be built from Jalalabad to bordering Torkham.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Finance Minister Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal, Agriculture and Irrigation Minister Muhammad Asif rahimi, Rural uplift Minister Owais Ahmad Barmak, Refugees Minister Jamaheer Anwari and Governor of Nangarhar Gul Agha Sherzai.

The ministers informed of various reconstruction projects that would be soon undertaken.

They said that an agriculture project would be launched in Kama district and work on the second road connecting Torkham to Jalalabad would also be started. Another bridge on Kabul river would be constructed and work on road on to Kabul via Sherzad district would also be started.
