France pledges € 10mn for development projects in Bamyan, Wardak

franceThe French government has pledged € 10mn for development projects in central Bamyan and Wardak provinces.

The aid will go towards agriculture, environment and administrational development projects for the coming three years.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, French Ambassador in Kabul, Zhan Michael Marlo, urged for transparent management of funds.

He added the fund would be utilized in implementing reconstruction projects in Koh Mard, Saighan and Yakawlang districts of Bamyan, as well as HEse Awal and Hese Do-i-Behsud districts of Warda province.
