High fuel and food prices hit Daikundi province

DaikundiResidents of Kajran and Kiti districts in Daikundi province have complained about the soaring prices of food and fuel.

Local officials have cited blockade of the roads connecting the districts to Kandahar province as the main reason behind the increasing prices of food and fuel.

The roads are mined by the insurgents, as a result of which imports of food and fuel to Kajran and Kiti provinces has been stopped.
