JICA funds development projects in Bamyan, Baghlan provinces

JICAThe Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has funded implementation of 14 developmental projects for public welfare in central Bamyan and northern Baghlan provinces.

Welfare projects in Bamyan included construction of 3.5km embankments and three bridges—one for vehicles and two for pedestrians.

Meanwhile, 10 projects including new roads, canals and hydropower projects were inaugurated in Baghlan province.

The projects were executed at a total cost of USD 170,000.
