Korean constructed model farm handed over to local authorities in Parwan
Addressing the submitting ceremony of the farm, KOICA representative Lee Kyung hoped the facility would help agricultural development in Parwan province by creating further income generating agricultural sources and solving food shortages.
The farm was completed in two years with support from KOICA and Parwan Provincial Government along with construction companies.
In the meantime, Parwan Provincial Head of Agriculture Abdul Kabir Farzam said trainings and research programs for the farmers would be carried in the model farm.
He added the farm would contribute to the development of agricultural sector in the province and called for further advising and training from the Korean government.
