Logar's industrial town to open soon

logarThe foundation stone of an industrial town in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province was laid on Wednesday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Logar Governor Arsala Jamal said the town would be built on 250 acres of land provided by the Ministry of Finance.

The town is estimated to cost USD 6 million and is expected to generate work opportunities to hundreds of families.

Meanwhile, Head of the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency Wafiullah Iftikhar said the town would encourage Afghan businessmen to invest in factories and industries.
