Minister Rahim vows to repair ancient sites in Kandahar

ahmadshah baba shrineVisiting the southern city of Kandahar, Information and Culture Minister Makhdom Rahim vowed to repair damaged monuments.

The minister, accompanied by local government officials and elders, examined historic places including Ahmad Shah Baba’s shrine and “Orange Palace” in old Kandahar city.

According to Mr. Rahin, very little has been done to improve the condition of the historic sites in the city.

He promised sending a team of experts to assess ancient sites in Kandahar.
