Head of the department, Shakurullah Tolo, told Pajhwok Afghan News (PAN), the revenue is likely to reach 300mn AFN by the end of this year.

Last year, the government received only 40mn AFN from the natural resources of Nangarhar province.

Tolo said that a factory would be established in the provincial capital, Jalalabad, for processing of 15,000 tons chromite.
