New bridge constructed in Laghman

laghman map jpgA new bridge has been constructed over the Alishang River in Gonapal district of Laghman province with financial collaboration from the US Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT).

The 97m long and 15m wide bridge would help solve the transportation problems of thousands of families living in the area.

According to the governor’s spokesperson Sarhadi Zhwak, a water dam would be established soon in Watan Gato area of the same area.
