The building consists of 42 rooms and is built at a cost of USD 2.5mn, funded by the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education.
Established in 2000 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Al-Beoroni University is a public university in Afghanistan. The university is named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, a renowned polymath scholar who lived in 11th century Khorasan. The University has seven departments: Agriculture, Engineering, Law and Political Science, Literature and Journalism, Medical Science and Shariyat(Theology).
