Nimroz districts benefit from development projects

The National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) implemented 11 development projects in Char Burjak, Chakhan Sor and Kang districts of Nimroz province.

Costing 6.5mn AFN, the projects were handed over to the general public after completion.

According to the provincial manager of NSP in Nimroz province, these development projects included construction of six community centers and two culverts and graveling of a rural road. Two thousand six hundred & sixty three families have benefited from these development projects.

Since its inception, the NSP has expended 309,764,599 AFN for implementation of 691 development projects in various sectors such as transport, electricity, education, irrigation, and livelihood.

Thousands of residents of Nimroz province have benefited from these projects so far.
