NUG determined to boost industrial sector: CEO Abdullah

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said the National Unity Government (NUG) was determined to enhance the industrial parks and encourage traders and investors.

Addressing the oath taking ceremony of new minister, CEO Abdullah Abdullah underlined that NUG has to put in more efforts to develop the vital industrial sector and remove the obstacles that Afghan traders are facing.

He said sufficient marketing of domestic products has been lacking and manufactures and producers need access to markets for their products.

Meanwhile, newly appointed Trade and Commerce Minister Humayun Rasa pledged to bring in reforms for the development of the industrial sector and said he would organize a team within his ministry to work together with Afghan traders and businessmen to promote industries.
