Over 8000 families in Logar benefit from welfare projects

The National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) recently completed implementation of 35 projects in Pul-e- Alam, the center of Logar province.

Costing more than 4,500,000 AFN, these development projects included the construction of six community centers, retaining walls, sidewalks, 75 culverts, extension of power cables, irrigation canals, excavation of 95 deep wells equipped with hand pumps and gravelling of 6,850 meters of rural roads.

Approximately, 8,669 families will benefit from these development projects.
