PIA flights for Kandahar

PIAThe Pajhwok Afghan News reports that flights between southern Kandahar province and Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, would begin on Tuesday.

Governor Toryalai Weesa and Pakistan Consul-General Farmanullah Yousafzai said they had reached the decision at a meeting in Kandahar City today. The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) would operate two weekly flights between Kandahar and Quetta said, the governor’s spokesman, Javed Faisal, quoted Yousafzai as saying.
