Power sub-station opened in Kunduz province

kunduzAn electricity sub-station, constructed at a cost of USD 18mn, was inaugurated in Imam shahib district of northern Kunduz province.

Funded by the Asian Bank, the sub-station would control and distribute 16 megawatt electricity imported from Tajikistan.

The project was jointly inaugurated by Water and Power Minister Muhammad Ismail Khan and Wolesi Jirga Speaker Abdul Rauf Ibrahim.
