Rehab center established in Maidan Wardak province

ministry of counter narcoticsThe Minsitry of Counternarcotics established a 20-bed rehabilitation center in Maidan Wardak province.

The facility consists of 17 rooms, a boundary wall, a lawn and other needed facilities.

The project took one year to be completed and will soon be handed over to the Public Health Ministry.

According to Pajhwok Afghan News (PAN), presently only Wadan rehab center is functioning in Maidan Wardak, where about 18,000 people are addicted to drugs.
