Road connecting Nuristan and Badakhshan to be built soon

nuristan 2Work on the construction of a 10-km road has officially begun in Paroon district of eastern Nuristan province.

The road connects Paroon with Karan and Manjan districts of northeastern Badakhshan province.

This comes as the residents had repeatedly complained to the government about the lack of a proper road in the area.

The deputy head of provincial council, Amanullah Inayatur Rahman, called on the government to pay special attention to Nuristan’s reconstruction projects.

The half a million dollar project would take one and a half month to complete.
