Operating on Thursdays and Sundays, the flight from western Herat City departs at 11:10am and arrives at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, Capital of India, at 2:50pm. Flight from Delhi to Herat departs at 3:30 pm and arrives at 5:20pm in Herat.

In a bid  to encourage more customers to patronize its services, Safi Airways offers frequent flyers free tickets on Safi Airways route network by collecting their boarding passes. Seven boarding stubs will entitle the claimant to a one way ticket and 11 boarding stubs for a return ticket.

Safi Airways, Afghanistan’s private international airline, became the first Afghan airline to be certified IOTA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

Safi also operates in compliance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements and has the credit of first Afghan carrier complying with the strict International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations.

IOSA certification allows Safi Airways to work closely with other international airlines in the region and extend its carriers reach on the global aviation arena.
