Seven NSP projects completed in Baghlan Province

Baghlan NSPWith a cost of more than 11,398,000 AFN 7 sub-projects of the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) were recently completed in Baghlan province and handed over to the people.

The NSP provincial manager of Baghlan province said that the stated projects included construction of safe drinking water tanks, micro hydro project, culverts, irrigation canals, community centers and graveling rural roads.

The projects have been completed in Khost, Khawaja Hejran, Jelga, Freng and Andarab districts of Baghlan province and 1,799 families have benefited from them.

Since its inception, the NSP has expended 2,975,893,081 AFN for implementation of 2,671 development projects in the stated province which included various sectors, such as transport, water network, education, electricity and livelihood. Thousands of the Kandahar province residents have benefited from these projects so far.
