Seventeen development projects completed in Baghlan Province
With a cost of more than 27,283,000Afs 17 sub-projects of the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development were recently completed in Baghlan province and handed over to the communities.
According to the provincial manager of NSP at Baghlan province, these development projects included construction of retaining walls, 4 micro hydro power projects, irrigation canals, culverts, community centers, public toilets, sidewalk, water intake and graveling rural roads.
These stated projects have been completed in Khost, Khwaja Hijran, Chalga and Polikhomri districts of Baghlan province and handed over to the people. 4,414 families benefited from these development projects.
Since its inception, NSP has expended 327,099,555Afs for implementation of 2,773 development projects in various sectors such as transport, water supply, electricity, irrigation, education and livelihood. Thousands of residents of Baghlan province benefited from these projects so far.
