Spring tree-plantation drive begins in Helmand

mohammad naeemHelmand Governor Muhammad Naeem planted the first sapling to mark the beginning of the spring tree-plantation drive on Saturday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he said seedlings were being delivered free of cost to the municipality and other organizations by the agriculture department.

He called on residents to look after the newly-planted trees and help keep the area green.
