Tehran ready to foster ties with Kabul: Bahrami

Iranian Ambassador to Kabul Mohammad Reza Bahrami met Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah on Monday to discuss bilateral relations between the two nations.

The two officials conferred on regional developments and reviewed ways of promoting relations in the areas of economy, culture and sports.

Describing Iran as Afghanistan’s good friend and neighbor, Bahrami said his country was ready to foster ties with Kabul.
