Twenty eight NSP projects implemented in Nangarhar

NSP JawzjanWith a cost of 23,376,303 AFN, 28 projects of the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) were recently completed in Khugiany district of Nangarhar province.

According to the provincial manager of NSP in Nangarhar province, these development projects included construction of retaining walls, irrigation canals, culverts, micro hydro stations, water-intake, aqueducts, sidewalks and excavation of wells. Seven thousand six hundred forty seven families have benefited from these development projects.

Since its inception, the NSP has expended 3,910,218,161 AFN for implementation of 3,760 ddevelopment projects in various sectors such as transport, electricity, education, irrigation, and livelihood. Thousands of residents of Nangarhar province have benefited from these projects so far.
