Youth Detention Center inaugurated in Helmand

Helmand jpgConstructed at a cost of USD 917,000 provided by the British forces, a youth detention center was inaugurated in southern Helmand province on Tuesday.

According to the Justice Director Mohammad Tayeb Atal, there are currently 5 boys and 45 girls living in the center.

The UK troops have also funded another building at the justice department, said Justice Minister Habibullah Ghalib.
