Afghan Boxer Wins Bronze at Kazakhstan Competition

Tolonews by Mir Sayed Sediqi- Afghan boxer Reshad Rezaye has won bronze at the World Series of Boxing competitions in Kazakhstan, beating Chinese and Kazakh rivals.

Another Kazakh boxer ultimately beat Rezaye, putting an end to his hopes for further advancement in the tournament.

Nine nations – including Italy, Britain and the Ukraine – participated in the competitions that began on Friday in Almaty.

Five male and two female boxers represented Afghanistan at the competitions.

The Afghan boxers to return on Sunday in Kabul.
