Afghan Youth Football Team participates in 2014 Youth World Cup Qualifier

Afghan teen footballThe Afghan Youth Football Team has left for Jordan to participate in the 2014 Youth World Cup qualifying round.

Forty-three nations will be participating in the tournament. The top three teams will qualify for the World Cup and 16 top teams will play in the Youth Asian Championship.

Afghanistan will face Maldives from Group B on Friday. Yemen, Jordon and UAE are also in the same group.

22 Afghan football players, two coaches and a supervisor are participating in the event.
