Afghanistan beats Nepal in a 7 over contest for ICC T20 Qualifier

nepalAfghanistan won against Nepal by nine wickets in the ICC World Twenty 20 Qualifier match played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE on Friday.

Due to the wet outfield the match was delayed and reduced to 7 overs a side.

Nepal batted first and made 73 runs in seven overs for the loss of three wickets.

Afghan batsmen scampered home in only 6.2 overs, with Nawroz Mangal scoring 22 runs in 11 balls.

The Afghanistan cricket team will face Kenya on Sunday during its 7th match in ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers in Sharjah.
