11 development projects implemented in Kabul

kabulEleven development projects have been completed under the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Kabul province.

According to the concerned Provincial Manager of NSP, the projects included graveling the rural roads and construction of irrigation canals.

These projects are executed at a cost of more than 13,400,000 AFN.

Benefiting 1,994 families, the projects are implemented in Paghman, Dehsabz, Charasyab and Musahi districts of Kabul province.

The NSP was created in 2003 by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development to develop the ability of Afghan communities to identify, plan, manage and monitor their own development projects. Through the promotion of good local governance, the NSP works to empower rural communities to make decisions affecting their own lives and livelihoods.
