125 young Afghans complete vocational courses

vocational trainingHundreds of young Afghan girls and boys in Faryab province obtained their certificates after completing vocational courses.

Various training courses were offered by ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) to youths from Faryab’s capital city and districts with financial collaboration from Holland.

The courses included trainings on metalworking, carpentry, embroidery, hairdressing, repairing of radios, TVs and tailoring machines and various others.

“Seeking vocational educational will enable our youths to hold jobs and run their families,” said Director of vocational education department at ACTED, Najibullah.

He added that the graduates received facilities to practice their skills.
