Afghan Finance Minister discusses economic ties with Georgia

Afghan Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi is visiting Georgia  on June 28-29 to confer on trade and economic ties  with the Georgian government and also meet with local business community.

His first meeting is with his Georgian counterpart Dimitry Kumsishvili in which he will talk about possible cooperation in the transport sector.

In his meeting with the local business representatives, he will be introduced to Georgia’s agriculture sector and its opportunities.

He will also pay a visit to the capital city of Tblisi where he will explore the Black Sea towns of Batumi and Poti to learn about the ports of both towns and their operations.
