According to Pajhwok Afghan News (PAN), the facility is being built over 10.5 acres of land at a cost of 260mn AFN provided by the Afghan Ministry of Public Health.
“Construction of the hospital will resolve problems of locals, who will no longer have to take their patients for treatment to other provinces,” PAN quotes Governor Amir Mohammad Akhundzada who was speaking on the occasion.
Deputy Health Ministry Dr. Naeem regarded the hospital as a necessary facility for residents of Nimroz and a dire need to facilitate access to quality healthcare and services in the area.
