Afghan Government signs 18 agreements with local construction companies

MoPW agreementAfghan Ministry of Public Works signed 18 construction projects’ agreements with local construction companies on Tuesday.

The projects include road and bridge construction that will be implemented in Baghlan, Nooristan, Nimroz, Khost, Pakisa and Ghazni provinces.

Of the 18 projects, 14 projects fall under the national rural rehabilitation program financed by the World Bank. The remaining 4 projects will be financed by the government budget.

Costing about 1 billion and 256 million AFN, the projects will kick off later this month.
