Afghan Public Work Ministry launches work on Nangarhar's key road

charparhar districtWork on the construction of Nangarhar’s key road, the Chaparhar-Pachir Agam, was officially launched on Saturday.

Funded by the Ministry of Public Work, the construction work of the road costs 95mn AFN.

The 7.7km long road is expected to be complete over the next six months and it would benefit thousands of families in the two districts.

The Chaparhar district chief, Mohammad Siddique Daulatzai, said the road’s construction would enable commuters to have a trouble-free journey and result into decreased fare.
