Afghanistan Ministry of Education to improve Bamyan University facilities

Ministry of Education has allocated USD 1.5mn to expand the University of Bamyan, after the students called on the government for assistance.

Education Minister Obaidullah Obaid said the university would soon have a library in addition to other plans that the government has made to expand the university campus.

Students had complained to the government about the overcrowding in the university due to lack of inadequate housing.

Minister Obaid said that the government would add another dormitory for female students next year.
