Afghanistan, Peru sign diplomatic pacts

Afghan foreign Minister Zalami Rassoul signed an agreement on diplomatic relationship with his Peruvian counterpart Rafael Roncagliolo on Thursday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Peru is willing to assist Afghanistan in countering narcotics, developing natural resources and boosting Afghanistan’s economy through bilateral ties.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Dr. Zalmai Rassoul continued his meetings with foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the ongoing UN assembly.
On Thursday, Rassoul met his counterparts from Denmark, Netherlands.
